“Service to other is the rent you pay for your room here on earth” Muhammad Ali 1942-2016

A year ago I saw this graffiti on the streets of Birmingham, U.K.I reposted now on the web because a few days ago an Instagram story made me think 💭

An image whit camp beds in a big room and a beautiful soul from Verona thanking for all the help received.

I asked her what happened and her answer was this:

“In this time not everyone has a bed and a roof to sleep.

And everyone should have a bed at this time mostly!”

That was all.

I thanked her for the good work that she does in the other people’s life but no reply.

She is not concerned to be socially licked but to bring help where is needed.

As I said this message made me 💭 think and think in the past few days and now I’m thinking again.

What makes someone think about the others and what makes someone really help the others not thinking only but most important Taking Action!

So, even more, what is the difference between 2 people in a Europe under the snow in March when everyone waited the spring to come.

A person complaining that her party at the club or restaurant being cancelled for the snow, a trip long time waited or just the discomfort of being under the snow make some people complain about their situation and Other people Start Thinking at other people and How can them Help and Start to Take actions Through this desire of Service.

I call them The Real Heroes

But what makes a human being act in a way or in the other.

The environment?

The DNA?

The Education?

A superior state of Consciousness?

In a different way, we have just understood that Helping others is not a choice but a Duty a Responsibility?

I remember when a few years ago I used to prepare food baskets and going in the night alone or with my fiancé at the time or with a few dear friends and just leave the food and sweets near them, only when something seemed strange we awaked them to put their food in a safe place.

But still nowadays Verona, north Italy is a safe place so normally we didn’t wake them up.

My idea was to act like this because we didn’t do it for showing something we did it because we Felt the Urge to help.

It was more than a basket of food it was a message that they are not alone, that sometimes good things happen, that in a strange way the universe is helping us.

I remember telling to my friends and family that we shouldn’t wake them up because at that moment we where the real Santa even in the summer.

🎅 I did it not for them even if they were the people who were helped by some invisible “Santas” but being truly sincere I did it for my internal well being. I did it because I’m what I call the Egoistic Altruism.

I did it because not doing it felt worse.

I did it for my happiness.

But the difference Between the Altruistic Egoism and the Egoistic Altruism is so huge and I will tell you more about in the next blog post.

What I believe

I BELIEVE that one day all the PEOPLE will be FREE from all kinds of misery and suffering.

I BELIEVE that day will come when all the people will be HAPPY AND FREE from jealousy, hatred, revenge and all that feelings and thoughts which are pure poison for the human race and are the core of all the destructions and all the diseases.

I believe that one day will be able to CURE our bodies using only our THOUGHTS and ENERGY without the use of the drugs from pharmacies or any other outside source.

I believe one day all the people will start to use their own mind instead to be used by their mind.

I believe that one day all the leaders of this world instead to fight for WEALTH and POWER creating planetary destruction and slavery of the masses driven by ego, overconfidence, and ignorance will work TOGETHER for the GOOD OF ALL BEINGS driven by AWARENESS and COMPASSION.

I believe in the EVOLUTION of CONSCIOUSNESS, INDIVIDUALY and PLANETARY as well. When all the people will LIVE their LIFE CONSCIOUSLY, the leaders will not be any more NECESSARY.

I believe that one day A NEW WORLD will be born from this beliefs. I believe in a HAPPY LIFE on THIS PLANET.

A planet full of COMPASSION, LOVE, and HARMONY. All this will be possible when all the individuals’ ACTIONS will be GUIDED BY the TRUTH, COMPASSION, with WISDOM and GOOD WILL.

This is not a wish, a burning desire, a dream or a mere hope. THIS IS WHAT I BELIEVE and the reason that I WORK so DILIGENTLY to clean up all the misery that I DISCOVERED in my MIND and in the minds of others.

You may say I’m just another DREAMER, but I’m ready TODAY and every day to CHALLENGE MY LIMITS, living OUT OF my COMFORT ZONE and working on my EVOLUTION, BECOMING more and more THE CHANGE I wanna see in the world.

This is what believe, and you know that I’m not the only one. May all beings be happy, educated and free.

“A long time ago, in a faraway village in rural Japan, a master carpenter built a house with a room of a thousand mirrors. Shortly after that, the village became very popular because of this unusual house. It wasn’t long before it was famous in the samurai caste and from the simplest samurai to daimyo, and even the most important daimyo together with the shogun came to see it. In less than two years the house had been seen by all the important people, and the Emperor, also, who was considered the Sun’s son, came to see this miracle. Seeing what a beneficial impact it had on them all, the owner of the house decided to always leave the doors open so it could be visited anytime by anyone. This is how one day, just before the sunset, a downcast dog passed by this house. It was one of those dogs that are never in the mood to play, that are always gloomy and that growl if you give them too much of your attention. This dog decided to enter hoping to find someone to give him something to eat. It is important to note that, before entering the room with the thousand mirrors, he had to pass through a dark hallway. While the dog was crossing this hall, a thousand concerns and worries overtook him. The closer he came to the door of the mirrored room, the more afraid he was. After coming halfway, and seeing there was no danger, instead of encouraging himself to calmly advance, he let himself be fooled by fear. “Who knows what’s hiding in this darkness? Look, a light, but what if there’s someone who wants to hurt me?” Carried by these thoughts, he would have retreated, but pushed by his hunger, he kept moving forward. Entering the room, he found a thousand dogs watching him suspiciously. “I knew it, I was right!! Here I’ll find my end! All of them will just hurt me!” Out of fear, his hair went up on his back and he instinctively put himself on guard; at this moment, he saw a thousand dogs preparing to attack. Not knowing what to do, he started barking, but the result was that a thousand dogs started barking. Frightened, he started screaming, but he was overwhelmed by the roar of the thousand dogs, so he started running… When he was out of this house, he thought it was a horrible place, and he would never go back again because he had just lived through the worst experience of his life. A few days later, another dog was passing in the courtyard, but this time it was a small, happy dog. One of those restless dogs, a gentle, jumpy dog that is always looking for a reason to celebrate life. Seeing the door open, he decided to enter the house, thinking he would find someone to play with. While crossing the dark hallway, he started thinking: “Who knows what surprise will be waiting for me at the end of this hall? It will certainly be a pleasant surprise, life has always something good for me, just wait and see how much fun it will be!” But going halfway and seeing that there was nothing for him, just before discouraging himself, he saw the light at the end of the tunnel. He got excited and started running forward thinking: “There is just a little more, a few more steps and I get there!! Who knows what surprise life has prepared for me?!” Carried by these thoughts, he entered the room of a thousand mirrors with a sincere smile on his face. Great was his joy when he met a thousand dogs that smiled and gladly fawned just like himself. Seeing so many friendly faces he started jumping with joy, and he saw then that he was followed by a thousand other dogs, and he thought: “How much these dogs like me!” and when he started dancing there was a huge surprise: In front of him were a thousand dogs doing a breakdance. Leaving the house he thought: “What a wonderful place, and what nice welcoming dogs… I will definitely come back here again.”

Dear Papion, look at this room as if it was nothing but everyday life and the thousand mirrors were the faces you meet every day. What reflections do you see on the faces of the people you meet?

-I never thought about the others around me like this, but from now on, I will definitely reflect before jumping to conclusions. What was the second thing you wanted to talk to me about? Papion asked.

Noipap Chapter 11 / Second Part

Life is a Lesson

For the first part click HERE

-But if I keep trying and I bump into locked doors?

-It depends on your intention. Your intentions, whether correct or not, can open or lock doors for you. And I do not mean physical doors, but the ones that lead to a better life. Woe betide he who enters an opened door with bad intentions! Even if for a while it looks like a success, sooner or later fate will have its say! One way or another, he will curse the door he entered. Why do we think we can trick life? It’s time to wake up and understand that we simply trick ourselves!!

-Airam, how can I express myself to the others if they don’t understand me?

-I can only tell you that when you express yourself, you need to be calm, clear, and consistent! As for making others understand you… I can’t help you with that.

-What do you mean you can’t?! Papion asked, alarmed.

-Even if you could talk down to everyone, that doesn’t mean you can make them all understand you. So far no one has managed to do that. You have to give up worrying about what others may think of you! Have the courage to be always yourself. That is the greatest obligation to you! When you are real, without masks, everything will become clearer. Remember that the ones who love you love the good they see in you, not what you want to show. Think of how many of us wear masks all day long. They do not know who they are and what they want anymore. If they had the courage to be natural, to accept themselves as they really are without worrying about what others might say, and if they would instead try to correct their faults and develop their skills, wouldn’t they start to slowly understand who they really are and know exactly what they wish for? Wouldn’t it be an easier life knowing exactly who you are and what you want to become? If you’re doing everything you can to achieve your dream, when you go through tough times, it will be easier for you to accept them! It’s a virtue to go further, through the joys and hardships of life with enthusiasm! It’s a blessing knowing that everything is happening to teach you how to become better, stronger! Then, every day passes for a reason; it brings you closer to your dream! Wouldn’t it be better for us to understand that life is not a struggle? Life is a continuous lesson that helps us grow!!

Incredible poem by Charlie Chaplin

As I Began to Love Myself

by Charlie Chaplin

As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth. Today, I know, this is AUTHENTICITY.

As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody. As I try to force my desires on this person, even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it, and even though this person was me.
Today I call it RESPECT.

As I began to love myself I stopped craving for a different life, and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow.
Today I call it MATURITY.

As I began to love myself I understood that at any circumstance, I am in the right place at the right time, and everything happens at the exactly right moment. So I could be calm.
Today I call it SELF-CONFIDENCE.

As I began to love myself I quit steeling my own time, and I stopped designing huge projects for the future.
Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness, things I love to do and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm.
Today I call it SIMPLICITY.

As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything that is no good for
my health – food, people, things, situations, and everything that drew
me down and away from myself. At first I called this attitude
a healthy egoism. Today I know it is LOVE OF ONESELF.

As I began to love myself I quit trying to always be right, and ever since
I was wrong less of the time. Today I discovered that is MODESTY.

As I began to love myself I refused to go on living in the past and worry
about the future. Now, I only live for the moment, where EVERYTHING
is happening. Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it FULFILLMENT.

As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me
and it can make me sick. But As I connected it to my heart, my
mind became a valuable ally. Today I call this connection WISDOM OF THE HEART.

We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problems with ourselves or others.
Even stars collide, and out of their crashing new worlds are born.
Today I know that this LIFE.

Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin, KBE (16 April 1889 – 25 December 1977) was an English comic actor, filmmaker, and composer who rose to fame in the era of silent film.
Chaplin became a worldwide icon through his screen persona “the Tramp” and is considered one of the most important figures in the history of the film industry.
His career spanned more than 75 years, from childhood in the Victorian era until a year before his death in 1977, and encompassed both adulation and controversy.

Noipap A Soul Story

Chapter 11

Some words and a story

After a hard day that was meant to change Papion’s life, he didn’t tell the butterfly a thing about what had happened, but asked her:

-Airam, how can I change myself, when I’m so afraid of losing what I have? How can I express myself to the others when they don’t understand me?

-Let’s take your questions one at a time, starting with the fear of losing. If you’re really satisfied with your life, there’s nothing to change.

You should go ahead with what are you doing!

If, however, you are dissatisfied with what you have and you want to change something, how can you be afraid to lose something you don’t like? So rather than assume certain risks, you prefer to accept a life of discontent?!?

As for the fear of losing, let’s imagine a thirsty man in the desert.

He carries a water container that’s so rotten that the interior walls are filmed with greenish bacteria. Outside it has been raining for some time. Just sitting with his mouth open, he fails to swallow enough water to quench his thirst. Because of his fear of running out of the water he carries, he refuses to spill it and he keeps the lid closed. During this time he wishes for a cup of clean water so much, and he keeps hoping that one will show up… but nothing. Instead, he keeps his mouth open, allowing the raindrops to enter, but he doesn’t manage to appease his thirst.

If he wants fate to smile at him, wouldn’t it be better to understand that it is unlikely for a clean cup of water to appear out of nowhere? Wouldn’t it be easier to empty the one he is carrying, rinse it clean, and let the rain fill it? asked the beautiful lady butterfly.

-Yes, of course, he’d do that, the last fool would do that! No one would hold the lid closed, keeping water that doesn’t serve them anymore, Papion answered. -You know, the one who is afraid that the rain might stop, the one who doesn’t know how long the rain in the desert lasts, the one who doesn’t understand that at that moment the rain is his salvation wouldn’t give up the water in his container! -Okay… but I was talking about life in general.

-And I tell you: Your life is like a container, and you are not satisfied with the contents!! You need to open the lid—that is, to open your mind and remove from your life everything that harms you, and make room for everything you want! You see, we’ve got the wrong idea about what it means to give up. We don’t understand that when we take responsibility for giving something up, we’re just making space for better things that life can offer us!

-And if one aims too high? If his aspirations are really high?

-It doesn’t matter how high you aim, it matters that you understand that in order to succeed, you need lots of practice!! Only if you continue to improve yourself will you succeed! But you need to keep trying until the day you make it!

-All right, but how about waiting for a time when you’re more prepared?

-The best moment to do something with your life is NOW!!! You can’t just sit around and wait for things to change. Inaction is the worst thing for someone who is not satisfied with his life!

I recently received a box with a Tibetan talisman from a dear friend. An image of Buddha and a lotus flower were painted on the box, along with this statement: “ There is nothing more constant in life than change.”

Dear Papion, I really think that life is constantly changing and it all depends on your choices. After all, everything is a choice!

In this moment, you choose to listen to me or not.

You choose whether to act or not!

So remember: Don’t believe everything will remain the same if you do nothing; on the contrary, life goes on! It’s up to you to determine whether your life will be as you wish, or if you will live forever with emptiness because you won’t consider your feelings, your dreams, and what you can become.

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
